Tales by moonlight, across Africa

Care in every telling.

Across Africa, tales belong to many communities and many tellers. BrytaTales makes room for that context while families listen with curiosity.

Begin with the source

We record where a tale came from and what changed in an adaptation. Where origins are uncertain or versions differ, we keep that uncertainty visible.

Listen to the whole telling

Script, pronunciation, narrator permissions and complete recordings each need review. A gentle voice alone does not make a tale suitable for bedtime.

A family invitation

Families and children are at the heart of BrytaTales, with adults welcome. Story guidance follows the exact tale and telling rather than a one-size-fits-all label.
